2025-2026 Meal Plans for AS&E Sophomores
There are two meal plan options for AS&E sophomores living on campus: Tufts Full Plan or 220 Plan. Students who wish to keep kosher may select a Kosher Full or Kosher 220 meal plan in SIS.
Exception: Sophomores living in a 6-or-fewer-person suite equipped with a kitchen are eligible to participate in the 160 Plan in addition to the 220 and Full Plans. See 160 Plan details.

Your meal plan will be connected to your Tufts ID.
- Meal plan holders use their Tufts ID to swipe into our dining centers or use meal swipe equivalency at one of our retail locations.
- The Tufts ID is also used for JumboCash purchases on-campus and with our off-campus partners.
Where are meal swipes accepted?
- Meal swipes are used to enter our all-you-care-to-eat dining centers – Fresh at Carmichael and Dewick-MacPhie.
- A swipe also has a cash value –or equivalency (amount depends on the meal period)–that may be used in certain Tufts Dining retail locations.
- Retail locations accepting meal swipes: Hodgdon, Kindlevan, Pax et Lox Glatt Kosher Deli, SMFA Café, and Commons Late Night (Friday and Saturday night only)
- 1 swipe will be deducted from your plan each time you swipe into a dining center or use a meal equivalency at a retail location.
Meal plans are per academic semester
- Meal plans are for each academic semester. Fall and Spring Meal Plans are sold separately.
- Students will automatically be enrolled in the meal plan they participated in during the previous semester.
- Students who wish to change meal plans may do so in SIS or by contacting the Tufts Dining office. See our Meal Plan Important Dates for change deadlines. Please note: Invited Viewers may not make meal plan changes in SIS. The student must make the changes.
- Meal swipes do not carryover between semesters, so use them don’t lose them!
- Your Fall meal plan will expire when the dining centers close after Fall semester final exams.
- Your Spring meal plan will expire when the dining centers close after Spring final exams.
