Kosher Dining
Tufts Dining offers several options for those who keep kosher, including Pax et Lox Glatt Kosher Deli, Shabbat meals at the Granoff Family Hillel Center, kosher for Passover foods, and a completely vegan kosher option at Dewick MacPhie Dining Center. Additionally, we have three kosher meal plans available to meet the needs of students who wish to keep kosher.
Kosher Meal Plans
New for the 2025-2026 academic year, Tufts Dining, in partnership with Tufts Hillel , is adding the option of kosher-supervised hot meals at Dewick-MacPhie Dining Center for two lunches and four dinners per week. To aid in planning, choose the Kosher option in SIS if you would like to participate. These kosher meat meals will be provided by a local supplier who is supervised by KVH Kosher in Boston.

Dewick-MacPhie Dining Center
Tufts Dining and Tufts Hillel have partnered with Lighthouse Kosher to launch this fully certified, completely vegan kosher dining option inside our largest dining center. Lighthouse Kosher is an innovative non-profit organization that combines Orthodox rabbinic supervision with a vision of ecological sustainability and social responsibility. The facility will also receive regular oversight and spot-checks from Rabbi Barry Dolinger of Lighthouse Kosher and Tufts Rabbi Naftali Brawer. This dining station is located at the plant-based section of the Dewick-MacPhie dining center and features appealing, vegan meals cooked from scratch. Students who keep kosher or those who would like to be able to regularly do so, now have the opportunity to share meals with peers with ease and convenience.
Pax et Lax Glatt Kosher Deli
Pax et Lax Glatt Kosher Deli is located in the Mayer Campus Center and features made-to-order sandwiches and wraps. The popular deli is open for lunch and dinner Monday to Thursday. Deli orders are placed using the Transact Mobile app and picked up the at walk-up window.
Passover Observance
For students observing Passover at Tufts:
- Dewick Kosher Meal Pre-Orders: You can pre-order a packaged Kosher for Passover lunch or dinner for pick up at Dewick. Meal plan not required to participate.
- At Tufts Hillel: In partnership with Tufts Dining and local kosher caterers, you can have your on-campus Kosher for Passover meal options at Tufts Hillel.
