Class of 2026 Commencement Boxed Lunch
Following the University-wide Commencement Ceremony (Phase I) graduates of the School of Arts & Sciences and the School of Engineering are invited to enjoy a light boxed lunch on the President’s Lawn presented by Tufts Dining.
Event Details:
- Commencement Date: Sunday, May 17, 2026
- Boxed Lunch Time: Immediately following Phase I, 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m
- Boxed Lunch Pick-Up Location: Tufts Dining tents on the President’s Lawn
Ticketing Details:
- Tufts ID is required to place order on Tufts Tickets
- Tickets will open for reservation on Tufts Tickets on these dates:
Undergraduate Students: Tickets available: April 8 – May 8, 2026
Graduate Students: Tickets available: April 20 – May 8, 2026 - Graduating AS&E students are eligible for 3 complimentary tickets. One ticket is to be used by the graduate; the other two are for the graduate’s guests.
- All tickets, including complimentary tickets, must be reserved online at Tufts Tickets by May 8, 2026. Additional tickets may be purchased online-only for $16.50 each
- Boxed Lunch choices: Chicken with Grains & Local Vegetables or Vegan Spring Rice Bowl with Tofu
- Kosher and Halal options are available. Kosher meals are prepared at the Tufts Hillel kitchens under the supervision of Rabbi Naftali Brawer.
- Boxed lunch includes a beverage and dessert
- No tickets will be issued at the event
- Please have your e-ticket available at the event
- Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable

- For those who prefer to not picnic on the lawn, Dewick-MacPhie and Carmichael dining centers will be open for seating to enjoy your boxed lunch
