Enroll, Change, or Cancel Meal Plan

Need to change or cancel your current meal plan? Or enroll in a meal plan? Here’s what you need to know.

Getting Started

You’ll need this information to enroll in, change, or cancel a meal plan:

  • Student name
  • Tufts ID number
  • Current class status
  • Name of desired meal plan (or indicate “no plan” if you wish to cancel)
  • Amount of initial deposit if requesting the JumboCash Only plan

Deadline to Enroll or Make Changes

Spring 2017

Contact Tufts Dining by January 16, 2017, about your meal plan choice so your ID card will reflect your new plan for spring semester 2017. Please check our Important Dates for additional details and deadlines.

If you would like your November eBill to reflect a new meal plan choice for spring 2017, you must notify Tufts Dining about your choice by November 3, 2016.

Summer 2017

Stop by the Dining Administration office at 89 Curtis Street, Somerville, starting May 23, 2017 to enroll in a Summer meal plan. Changes must be made by May 31, 2017, for Summer Session I or July 12, 2017, for Summer Session II. Please check our Important Dates for additional details and deadlines.

How to enroll in or make changes to your spring 2017 meal plan.

  • Register online through Tufts’ Student Information Systems (SIS) Portal until 5 p.m. EDT on January 16, 2017.
  • Mail a completed Meal Plan Enrollment/Change Form before January 8, 2017, to Tufts Dining Services, 89-91 Curtis Street, Medford, MA 02155..
  • Phone the Tufts Dining Administration Office at x73566 or 617-627-3566, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m..
  • Stop by the Tufts Dining Administration Office at 89-91 Curtis Street, Somerville, MA 02144, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Summer 2017

How to enroll in or make changes to a summer 2017 meal plan.

Summer meal plan registration begins on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. Stop by the Dining Administration office at 89 Curtis Street, Somerville to enroll in or make changes to summer meal plans. Payment must be made in person at the time of registration. You may pay with cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover. The card. credit card holder must be present with the card. Meal plans and JumboCash cannot be charged to your Student Account in SIS during the summer.
