Tufts Farmers’ Market on Wednesdays through October 10

The 3rd Annual Tufts Farmers’ Market gets underway on Wednesday, September 5th. Held on the Campus Center upper patio (Professors Row side of building) from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., the market features fresh produce from the Tufts’ Friedman School of Nutrition’s New Entry Sustainable Farming Project

Special events at the October 10th market:

  • Tufts Dining’s Butternut Bisque will be available for sampling
  • The Commons Deli & Grill will be selling Butternut Bisque, Vegetarian Chili, Beef Chili, Pumpkin and Zucchini Bread

Expected produce this week includes

  • Kale
  • Green Beans
  • Bush Beans
  • Carrots
  • Fingerling Potatoes
  • Irish Potatoes
  • Leeks
  • Storage Onions
  • Parsnips
  • Sage
  • Red Peppers
  • Green Peppers
