Tufts Dining offers Summer Session students an option to buy a standard meal plan or JumboCash for each six-week session.
First session meal plans are valid beginning with breakfast on Wednesday, May 25, and ending after dinner on Friday, July 1. Second session meal plans are valid beginning with breakfast on Tuesday, July 5, and ending after dinner on Friday, August 12.
Meal Plan Options
Tufts Dining offers three meal plans for the summer to eat in the Dewick-MacPhie dining center.
The Premium meal plan offers the best value for students wishing to participate in all meals. You may have multiple access to Dewick-MacPhie.
The 80 meal plan offers the best value for students who will be eating an average of 13 meals per week in the Dewick-MacPhie Dining Center. This plan provides 80 meals per six-week session.
The 40 meal plan offers the best value for students who eat an average of 6 meals per week. This plan provides 40 meals per six-week session.
Additional JumboCash may be purchased to supplement these meal plans.
For the ultimate in convenience and flexibility, Tufts provides the JumboCash debit plan. JumboCash can be used for food purchases at any of Tufts’ three food facilities, the bookstore, in washers and dryers in on-campus laundry rooms, to pay library fines. Your JumboCash may be used in vending machines, or for pay for print and copying in campus libraries and computer centers. Students are also able to use their JumboCash at eighteen off-campus restaurants to dine in, take-out or delivery (where available), as well as a drug store and two convenience stores, popularly known as MOPs . A minimum initial purchase of $100 is required. JumboCash is valid until graduation or permanent withdrawal from the university. Refer to the JumboCash section for more information.
